I typically only write reviews if my expectations were surpassed, or if it was just terrible. Marcus and his crew truly made my fence more beautiful than I could've imagined! We had a 6' board on board installed with a top cap as well as a footer (very helpful to prevent doggy digging and gives your fence a few more inches in height). The crew was very professional and kind! They worked hard non-stop and got the job done in the time frame we were quoted. We will be using Marcus again for another part of our fence in the near future, for sure! Don't choose anyone else!

Having a home that is in need of updating from front to back, I have dealt with many different contractors over the past few years and Marcus, the owner at DFW Fence, was the most professional by far. We already had taken multiple bids before we met w/ him and to be perfectly honest, we had our minds set on one of the previous bidders. Boy, am I glad we changed our mind! When we initially met, he had actual samples for us to look at and pictures to show us his previous work. Also, he is the only bidder who suggested a tiered fence. That suggestion and the overall execution made all the difference in the world! I now have a fence that make all the neighbors jealous.
On top of that, his crew was incredibly professional. They worked for 3 solid days on my fence all under the HOT Texas sun! We ended up with a fence I couldn't be prouder of. They are a true 5 star service and it shows in their work and professionalism! KUDOS!!!

My 8 foot tall, 6 inch wide picket cedar fence with kick board base and trim piece on the top by DFW Fence Contractor LLC. is a premium fence. I chose the pecan colored stain which is really handsome and could not be more pleased with the appearance. In addition to aesthetics my wife and I now feel much safer in our home as well.
In three days the team of three fencing professionals removed an old chain link fence, busted up the old concrete runner, set the 8 foot metal posts straight as an arrow and erected the fence. The team worked hard all day long and was very communicative throughout the process. Marcus was flexible with the start date for the project based on some conflicts that arose for me and was willing to adjust the fence estimate to include more linear footage on the fly when I decided I needed a little more fencing.
I called other fence companies for quotes and found the pricing to be on point. Coming home each day to see my new fence by DFW Fence, I am 100% satisfied with my selection of Marcus and his team and with the high quality fence that now enhances my property.

What a great experience. We had a fence that I share with a neighbor that was in desperate need of replacement. In all of our searches none of the other companies we reached out to would even come to our location to give us a bid. I used their on-line estimate tool and then requested a site visit for a quote. They called the next business day and set up the site visit later that week. The site visit went great and all of my questions were answered immediately. Once we accepted the quote the team was at our house within 7 days.
The team was awesome. They were able to get the old fence down and the new one put up in less than 7 hours. They were very professional and they left the yard better than when they showed up.
If you are looking for someone who is responsive, on time, professional, and truly caring, then reach out to DFW Fence contractor and you won’t be disappointed.

They took great care of us and when they said they would be out the crew avowed up on time and even completed the work that day. Cleaned up and we had our beautiful fence up. Stacey was very helpful and knowledgeable. He gave us a fair estimate less than an hour after assessing our fence needs. He was also available throughout the construction of our new fence to answer questions and to guide us on repairing and staining the existing fence. We very much appreciated his availability and his prompt responses. The guys who came to construct and stain were prompt and very hard working. We are very pleased with the result and highly recommend DFW Fence Contractor.

I had a wonderful experience with DFW fence.
Communication was excellent, and they were very happy to work with me in making changes to accommodate my budget. They installed a beautiful Japanese Cedar fence at my house, expertly matching the color of an existing fence that runs alongside my neighbor's property who used more expensive Western Red Cedar. I can't tell a single difference.
Marcus updated me throughout the process. The fence was installed in 2 days. Foreman Jesus was fantastic -- explaining exactly how the process would unfold. They kept marching on at an incredible pace despite a brief bout of rain on install day. The fence immediately makes a noticeable difference and I've already received compliments.

DFW installed a plain 4' iron fence along my pool deck edging. I got estimates from a few companies and DFW was the best. They are very busy and it took about a month for them to get it installed. I wasn't totally happy with the finished job. I contacted them and they came back out and fixed it. Now it looks great. I would definitely recommend them.

DFW Fence delivered quality and was great to work with. I solicited bids from three fence contractors. DFW Fence won the job. They were responsive and great to work with. They kept me informed throughout the process, from initial bid to start of construction. Their construction crew was friendly, easy to communicate with and conscientious.

They were professional from start to finish, very pleased. The quality of both materials and workmanship was excellent. Stacey came to our home multiple times to iron out details , the invoice was specific, and the product matched in all respects. The stained Western Red Cedar looks terrific and the gates were built for the long term. Highly recommend.

They had to remove two sections of fence and replace with one taller fence and in another area, replace some fence and add a double 10 foot gate. I'm so pleased with the fast job they did and how beautiful it looks. I will be needing more work done later and will definitely call them again.

Josh did our new privacy gate & fence. It is absolutely stunning! We only did 2 gates & part of the fence but are now definitely wishing we would have done the entire fence. The quality of the fence & gate is top notch & they were amazingly quick!! We are SO happy with it!!!

My husband and I used DFW Fence Contractors to have an 8 foot cedar fence put into our back yard and WOW!! I could not be more impressed! The contractors were so professional and fun to talk to! They got their work done very quickly and didn’t miss anything! It only took two days to put up the fence (would have been one if we didn’t have to wait for the concrete to dry) and was incredible to watch going up. We are absolutely in love with our new fence and the privacy it provides. The custom trim that we had added really makes it a true beauty! The stain is great quality and something we will enjoy looking at everyday! Thank you again DFW Fence Contractors, your work is by far the best!!

DFW Fence installed a wooden gate with electronic locking into an existing wood fence. Once we settled on a date, the entire team ensured everything was done to the specs. I was concerned that the stain on new pickets wouldn’t match the existing fence, but the installers worked really hard to get a good match. I would recommend this company for your projects.

Awesome experience and end result! We are extremely satisfied with the fence! I did my homework before selecting DFW Fence Contractor. I wasn't looking for the lowest cost install, I was looking for a fair price for excellent work.
Josh came to our home and had various samples in a 'display rack' for us to view in the back of his truck - that really helped to visualize what we were buying.
I took three days off to 'babysit' the work, but it was evident within the first hour the entire crew were professionals and worked as a team! They were incredible! Very friendly and happy to answer any question I had. It was nice to spend three days with these guys!
Thank you to Julio, Jesus, Greg and Fernando... a/k/a "Supervisor." I believe this is the first time in 35+ years as a home owner I felt this comfortable with someone working on my home. I needed to replace approximately 50-feet of residential cedar fencing. DFW Fence came out, removed the old fence and posts, and custom-built a new cedar fence. Good quality and reasonably priced. I recommend them and will use them to replace the rest of the fence when required.

From eye sore to sight for sore eyes!
We had Marcus and DFW Fence Contractor replace our terrible fence and could not be happier with the result. We have had the fence for over 4 months now and I will leave the blinds open just to look at how great it is. I am not exaggerating. We have also had people come up to us outside of our house to tell us how great it looks. Our neighbors have all commented on how great it is to see a nice fence like ours.
Longer story below.
Ours was a two year ordeal. We purchased a property with a fence that was on its last legs but was not a priority compared against some of the other larger issues with the house. The next year we determined that it was time to address the fence as it was leaning further and further into the alley and the gates would not latch anymore and got three or four different bids. Marcus came out as one of them and you could tell that he was knowledgeable and passionate about his product and company. Right before we settled on a contractor, we had a massive plumbing issue that delayed the ability to get a new fence.
Fast forward a year and we remembered how much we liked DFW Fence Contractor so we called only them again and Stacey came out and walked us through it all. We had a lot of options to consider and he provided multiple options and quotes for each option to help us decide. If anything, he was just as passionate as Marcus about the company and product.
After deciding to go with a side by side horizontal with top cap and sliding gate and getting on the schedule, the process was fast and the result is phenomenal. The crew was thorough and professional. We will be using DFW Fence Contractor for all our future fence needs and have recommended them frequently. to others.

I got a few bids and felt like this company gave me a good deal in comparison with ab quality fence. If I remember correctly they did the bid off my pictures I sent and linear footage I provided. They didn't charge me extra to remove my old fence. After they installed the fence, I had a minor problem with the gate not being exactly even, but no worries the crew came out and took care of it. I did have to wait about 3 weeks or so for the install, but it was worth it. I had another company I provided pictures and measurements and they asked me one question and never got back with me regarding a bid. I'm definitely glad I found this company and will consider them for future fence work.

Worth the wait!!. The crew was super efficient and professional. Cleaned up everything and the fence looks awesome. Don't waste your time getting other estimates they are all pretty competitive (within a few hundred $). DFW Fence Contractor I feel Has the best craftsmanship and shows.

I’ve been a lifelong DIY guy on many projects. I had a big residential fencing job that I knew I couldn’t do as well as I wanted it. I followed the old adage to get at least three bids, and among them was DFW Fence Contractor. From the start, Stacey was right there, explaining the types of wood, the merits of each type, the significance of the pole sizes and spacing, and all the other fine points. I was super impressed, and he handed me a written estimate with notes, details, diagrams, and a full breakdown of all the costs. They were expensive. The other contractors showed up (or not) to see the job. Those who did gave me a written bid (or they did not). As it was, the proposals we’re all pretty competitive, but when I started looking at the materials (my experience has shown the fence rails are the first thing to rot, and once rotten, reattaching the slats becomes difficult because as I nail in one slat, three others loosen up), I realized DFW Fence Contractor uses ACTUAL 2x4s instead of MILLED 2x4s, which is very significant and distinctive from any other proposal. The more I looked, the more I decided I didn’t want any other company doing this job.
Suffice it to say, like so many other reviewers have said, they showed up on time, worked hard, did the job far better than expected, and cleaned up afterward. Everyone on the crew was friendly and easy to talk to, happy to help get it how we wanted it. Really, an excellent company that does an amazing job, FAR exceeding expectations. It’s been up a month and still smells as good as it looks!

My new fence installed by Joe and Juan looks great. They were on time and very good to work with. They answered any questions I had for them. After they were done they cleaned up the yard and hauled off the old fence. DFW Fence Contractors cost was reasonable and the quality And the look of the fence is great. I would highly recommend them for any fence work.

This was the second time we have used Josh and his crew(Jesus and Carlos), they installed a great looking fence. They use pre stained wood and the other quotes we received didn't and they still beat them all. Great value and easy work with. Would recommend to any of my family or friends.

DFW fence is amazing. The crew tore down, removed and replaced 466 feet of wood privacy fence in two days. They also did it in the rain and I would not allow them to drive their truck into my backyard because of how wet it was. They were very gracious. They carried all of the old material out and all of the new material in. The fence is beautiful!

Best fence company there is! From beginning to end, everything was a great experience. I'm pretty sure I was a little annoying and difficult at first, and yet, Marcus was really kind, informative, and made sure everything was what I was looking for. We needed our board on board fence done prior to getting landscaping work done and interviewed 4 companies. His price was mid range, but his attention to out needs, problems (tree growing through fence), and time constraints were the best.

These guys are great. I received quite a few quotes and used DFW Fence Contractor. They did an absolutely amazing job. The were professional, arrived as promised and finished the project without a hitch. Joe the lead installer was nice and patient with my many questions. Joe also measured everything multiple times before installing and made sure everything was level. Marcus was also awesome. This a professional outfit and does very skilled fence installation.

Marcus and his team were a pleasure to work with. Marcus took his time and answered all of my questions when meeting for an estimate. His crew came out when scheduled and completed a gate and 92' of cedar fence in about 5 hours on Friday. Saturday I noticed they had hit one of my sprinkler lines and a couple of the boards were cracked. I contacted Marcus and Monday morning he had one of his guys out to fix the sprinkler as well as replace the two pickets. The fence and gate came out great. I highly recommend DFW Fence Contractor.

You know how you've had a bad experience with almost every single contractor that you've ever hired? And you had to follow up on every single detail and it felt like you were working with a twelve year old? It won't be like that with these guys. They do good work, manage theirselves and will surprise you. Check out their videos on YouTube. You'll be happy you used them.

I had DFW come back to add additional fencing (we also had to change our gate since we’re getting a pool). New fence looks beautiful. Planks are straight, fence is perfectly level. The quality of the cedar is excellent. One nice upgrade is the poles they use use are no longer round so it allows the poles to be hidden with a cedar plank.
I will absolutely use these guys again.

I had a company that I got off of face book lined up to put in a small fence for me. Four days before they were to put the fence they called and said they could not do it. We had a party set for that Saturday and needed the fence. I called a few places and either they were way to high or they said it was to small of a job. I finally found DFW Fence Contractor LLC, I explained to Marcus what had happened and asked if he could have the job done by Saturday. Marcus said let me see what I can do. He called back about a half hour latter and said he could get it done for me. Remember this was on Wed afternoon. I called Marcus on Friday to confirm the guys would be there on Saturday morning and to my surprise he asked if the guys could come by that day and do the job. I ran by the house to unlock the gate and was meet there by Joe he was very professional and knocked the job out quick and my new fence looks great and was exactly what I wanted. Big surprise was the bill was only 50 dollars higher then what I was paying a fly by night company.

The people came as promised and were very professional in their work. Had a problem with the fence ran right over my sprinkler head. They spliced the pvc pipe and replaced the sprinkler head for me at no cost. I had a fence slat come loose after about 3 months. They came back and fixed it, no problem. I am very proud of my fence.

These guys went above and beyond to gain my business. They did an amazing job and did it quickly. My fence is absolutely beautiful. The owner came out to make sure his crew was doing a good job and the cleaned everything up. You couldn't even tell they had been here other than my new beautiful fence. I highly recommend them. Yes it was 7 months ago, but I never delete from the particular email I used. I still didn’t see anything. BUT since you responded to this review, then I trust you did send something and it just never made its way to me. I’m sorry we never got to do business and for the 1 star review for the past 7 months. I’ll chalk it up to technical difficulties.

DFW Fence Contractors LLC came to our rescue! We had a different fence company get the project started and we started hitting problems right away. We could not get them to return our calls and we found out that the workmanship was inferior to what a great fence should be.
When you’re spending big dollars to put up a fence, you want to know it’s done well and will last the test of time.
DFW Fence Contractors did an amazing job from start to finish! From the sales rep that came out and answered all of our questions, to the crew that did the installation it was a seamless experience. I cleaned up after all of the work was done and we’re happy to engage with me and answer any questions I had.
I would certainly give 10 stores but I am limited to five. I found the pricing to be on point with the competitors but the main thing that I value is there were not any issues or hassle. Going back-and-forth between contractors and arguing is not my idea of customer service. There was none of that with DFW Fence Contractors and we are completely thrilled!!

DFW Fence Contractor did an amazing job! Stacey came to do the estimate, he was on time, very easy to talk to (not pushy), and because of his experience he was able to recommend the best materials to use for our needs. The estimate was the third we got and the most affordable for the quality of fence we received. They were accommodating enough to send out a crew on a Saturday, which they don’t normally work, but it was the only day my wife and I could be home. The crew showed up early and they finished the work in the same day. We couldn’t be happier with the way it turned out!

DFW fence installed an absolutely beautiful Cedar side-by-side fence with an 18 foot sliding gate for us. They arrived as promised and completed it quickly. No regrets and I would highly recommend DFW fence contractors.

I can’t say enough good things about DFW Fence Contractor. Marcus and his teams did an amazing job working with us during our pool build. Of ALL the contractors I worked with, Marcus did what he said he would do, when he said he would do it and did an amazing job. That is rare (IMO) anymore with contractors.
The finished product speaks for itself. It’s spectacular!
My pool builder delayed our project numerous times and Marcus took it in stride and shifted things as needed to ensure we did not delay any progress. Our project together took a couple months start to finish. But trust me Marcus would have had his part done in a week or two.
Our project consisted of removing a shorter retaining wall and building it higher. But because we were unable to match the stone I was forced to replace my entire retaining wall. Marcus worked us a fair deal and we were even able to add stairs to the wall leading to the front door and back gate for easy access to the backyard for future pool parties. The end result is nothing short of art. I could not be more pleased with the overall project.
One thing that I’ve noticed is that DFW fences (once your familiar with their work) can be spotted very easily as you drive through neighborhoods. The craftsmanship is amazing. I challenge you to find a better fence builder.
I’d like to add some pictures of the before and after - but I’m not sure if I’ll get the chance. I hope so.

DFW Fence Contractor replaced our fence and pergola this summer. Construction for both took a little over 1 week. Jesus and the team took extra care of the details and were very patient with all of our questions. The look of the fence met our expectations but the pergola exceeded our expectations. The wood, and design, is beautiful. And the construction of both the fence and the pergola is solid. We are very happy with both projects!

Well let me say I was impressed. Got a call back from my request to speak to someone about a quote in less then an hour. Had a salesman come to the house the next day. A very professional no nonsense review of the work we needed done and got a quote on the spot. I signed up and got an email with the invoice. Was happy to pay only half up front and the other half after the work was done to my satisfaction. They showed up when they said they would, did all the work in one day and I could not be happier with the quality of the job and the professionalism of the workers. I had a 150 foot 8' high fence and a gate in the back yard and a double gate in my driveway along with an additional gage on the other side of the house. The quote was fair and actually $500 less then other quotes. I recommend them for several reasons. Professionals, Promptness, Quality of work. You cannot go wrong with these guys. An additional plus for me is they are a Veteran Owned and Operated Business. Thank you for your service guys.

Fast, efficient, professional, and superior work! Three guys came and removed our old fence, removed old posts and set new for a section we were moving, and installed a gorgeous new fence with two new gates on our entire yard in one day. Fence was customized on site to fit our sloped yard, exactly. We could not be happier with the end result, and would definitely hire DFW Fence Contractor again!

After comparing quotes from several companies we ended up choosing DFW Fence Contractors for our backyard fence and driveway gate and we couldn’t have made a better decision! Marcus was professional and friendly during the sales process, while Jesus and crew created a fantastic fence that drastically improved the look and feel of our home. We had always wanted to install a horizontal board privacy fence to finish off our pool area and the crew definitely delivered! We have already begun to share the praises of Marcus and the team to our family and friends with fence projects on the horizon. We will undoubtedly use DFW Fence Contractors in the future again!
