Fence Care

Fence Posts

Fences require little maintenance. Most fence issue come from inadequate watering. The posts that hold up your fence need to be in solid soil. With a lack of rain and not watering your yard takes its toll on your fence. In Dallas and Fort Worth it is best to start watering early March or late February. If you wait to long you will never catch up with our heat. You should help the watering by applying extra water around or directly to the the posts them selves.

Wood Fence

Wood fencing can make your home look great and can also give you the privacy and security that is needed. With our climates here you can not afford to let your wood fence sit outside un protected. We recommend an Oil Based Stain call Ready Seal. Ready Seal is a semitransparent oil based stain designed to take on the sun and the weather. All Ready Seal wood stains penetrate deep into wood fibers, moisturizing the wood with water-proofing oils and creating a flexible barrier that keeps moisture out. Because no rigid film is formed on the surface, our wood stains can flex with the woods’ expansion and contraction and will never crack, chip, flake or peel, another reason Ready Seal wood stain is the best stain!
