Marcus with DFW Fence Contractor shares a recent project where our DFW Fence builders work on Postmaster Fence Posts Installation. These PostMaster fences are distributed by Master Halco, which we use a lot. On this project, we put in a concrete moat strip all the way down to the concrete footing. When we do our concrete footings, we put double rebars. We put rebars on both sides, then put a little rebar peg down into the dirt. Then, we put tie backs back across to tie the two together. That way, when you put your mud in and start filling it, the rebars don’t move as much. They’ll stay stationary and stay in place where we want them to stay. We put the mud in the following day.
